| We offer two sizes of proofs: 1. Quarter-sized proofs for larger pieces. If you order a 1/4-sized proof for a smaller piece, for example a 16 x 24 print, you will receive more like a 1/2-sized print. 1/4 sized prints are $20.00 Fill out the form below 2. Smaller proofs will vary in size based upon the dimensions of the original. Small proofs are $ 7.50 Fill out the form below You may wonder why we charge for proofs. We print each proof one at a time on the printers that we use for originals just like we do final prints. We will have to see whether we will be able to continue to offer proofs due to the time involved. So it is our hope to get proof requests only from serious customers. The only way we are able to offer anything at all at this time is that we do everything ourselves from taking the shots to organizing this website. There are very few if any sources for what we do and our prices are reasonable given the considerable investment in time and money. Somewhat tongue in cheek and perhaps a bit maudlin, we have said that most anyone could do what we do if they can invest 10,000 hours of time, 70 to 100 hours a week and $100,000 in equipment. |
