| Prints are available in any size on Paper or Canvas by special order. Canvas prints on stretched Canvas can be up to 7 feet wide. All of the variables make a simple formula for price difficult. So please send us an e-mail with what picture you are interested in and an approximate size. Unless we crop a picture, height and width remain proportional. For most of our panoramas, the width is between 2 and 4 times the height. Compared to the prices we see on much smaller "giclee" prints, our prices are reasonable. The equipment to do this work is quite expensive, for example, a top of the line medium format digital camera is $30,000.00 and a 35mm format digital camera $8,000.00 plus lenses. | For those unfamiliar with large format digital images, the panoramas are very large files, typically several hundred megabytes and sometimes close to a gigabyte and can involve the combining of as many as 40 or more individual shots. Files in process may be as large as 7 gigabytes. The online files are in the kilobyte range. In other words, the files we print from are usually 1000 or more times larger than the online files. |
| DELIVERY TIME IS 3 TO 6 WEEKS. WE DO ALL THE WORK OURSELVES. IN BETWEEN EACH STEP, WE ALLOW AT LEAST 2 DAYS FOR DRYING. AFTER THE FINAL COAT OF VARNISH, WE LET AN ITEM DRY FOR ONE WEEK BEFORE CRATING. We stock few finished items. Some items will have 6 or more coatings depending upon the effect we want. The more coatings overall, the longer must be the drying time. |
| Our Web site is home grown. So it may appear a bit rustic. Our digital photographs are very nice and our prices are very reasonable. At first view many people have been literally stunned. We do all the work ourselves from taking the photographs to printing and framing. We use only Top-Notch professional equipment and high-quality materials. See Notes for more details. BUT REMEMBER PICTURES WILL NEVER LOOK AS WELL ON LINE AS THEY DO PRINTED ON CANVAS OR TEXTURED FINE ART PAPER AND PROPERLY COATED. We can print any size up to 40" X 96" or longer. Please Note: All of our Canvas prints come stretched and coated, ready to hang. Sides are finished. You will not need to frame them. We ship each item crated for protection. You will not find a better value. We offer proofs so you can see what you will get.
